Pinellas community foundation (PCF) strengthens the quality of life for all pinellas county residents by addressing critical community challenges in human services, environmental health, and education-while fostering a vibrant arts and culture sector. In partnership with our generous donors, PCF awarded 654 grants to 323 charitable organizations in 2024, supporting initiatives that enhance our community's resilience and well-being. Following hurricanes helene and milton, PCF worked with regional partners to activate the tampa bay resiliency fund and the we are ST. Pete fund, both dedicated to raising and distributing funds for hurricane relief and recovery. These collaborative efforts helped direct resources quickly to organizations providing food, shelter, and essential services to affected residents, reinforcing PCF's role in supporting our community through crisis and recovery. Our grants focus on key issues such as food security, housing stability, healthcare access, arts education, and educational opportunity. As a community partner, PCF collaborates with donors, nonprofits, local leaders, and funders to identify and respond to emerging needs. By aligning resources with effective solutions, PCF remains a trusted partner in advancing locally focused philanthropy that delivers meaningful results. PCF also helps donors create scholarship funds that support students pursuing higher education and vocational training. Working closely with donors, our team designs scholarships that reflect each donor's goals, ensuring each award makes a real difference for students and the broader community. In 2024, donors partnered with PCF to recommend 220 grants through donor- advised funds, supporting a wide range of community priorities. PCF provides expertise and guidance to help donors achieve their charitable goals and ensure every grant meets real community needs. By simplifying the giving process and fostering thoughtful philanthropy, PCF empowers donors to make a lasting, positive impact on the causes they care about most.
