The state of new york department of health created the career pathways training (CPT) program. The CPT program covers the cost of education and support services for students across thirteen healthcare titles. Caring gene healthcare career pathways, INC. Is one of three NYS organizations administering the program. In return for providing education and support, student participants in the CPT program are required to give a three-year commitment to certain healthcare providers. As of december 31, 2024, there were 8 students participating in the CPT program. As of july 31, 2025, there were 1,531 students participating in the CPT program.
