Evangelical community hospital foundation is a community-based, not-for-profit organization that exists to inspire gifts and grants from individuals, foundations, corporations and other entities to support the health and well-being of people in union county and surrounding communities. Charitable contributions received are used to support a broad range of services and programs that are essential in providing care to patients and benefit the healthcare for the community. These programs include, but are not limited to: financial assistance and direct charity care for patients unable to afford the cost of their healthcare, preventative health screenings such as screening mammography and general health screenings, emergency medical services including EMT and paramedic services, women's health and obstetric services, cardiac rehabilitation, spiritual care, community health education, and mobile health services.
