Education: Justice Action Network Foundation (JANF) engaged in a wide range of criminal justice policy reform educational campaigns aimed at lawmakers and the general public. JANF identified viable bipartisan reform opportunities in states and at the federal level by cultivating relationships with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle, seeking input from local and national nonprofit organizations, system practitioners, law enforcement, formerly incarcerated individuals, and more to strategically coordinate efforts to build support for justice policy reform. See Schedule O.Justice Action Network Foundation (JANF) partnered with nonprofit organizations to host virtual and in-person events that raised public awareness about the need for criminal justice reform from diverse perspectives. These events, including webinars and community discussions, engaged broad audiences on key issues at both the state and federal levels. JANF also shared information through media interviews, meetings with journalists and influencers, and rapid-response communications. Through social media, JANF highlighted partner organizations and promoted timely news on criminal justice reform.
