The intention was to through the fiscal sponsorship of the El Paso Community Foundation, to assist in the education of the public regarding the current and historic contributions of the Mexican American community in the El Paso region through the following acctivities:- Assisting in educational activities and events, research and contextual discussion, and publishing of pamphlets, books and other presentation materials;- Assisting with acquisition and presentation of permanent and temporary exhibitions; and- Assisting with acquisition, curation and preservation of artistic, historical and other culturally significant art, artifacts and literature as part of a permanent collection.-Little to no activity was conducted directly by the Organization and it was determined that it would be more efficient and economical for the planned activities of the Organization to be conducted directly by the El Paso Community Foundation.
