Texas Health Virtual Care (THVC) d/b/a Texas Health Care at Home was formed to provide new and innovative healthcare services allowing qualifying patients to receive inpatient care in the comfort of their homes through virtual care. Patient care began mid-June 2022 in a few Texas Health hospitals and is expanding to additional hospitals in the Texas Health Resources Healthcare System. The following services are provided. Virtual Patient Observation: Virtual observation for inpatient Hospital patients who are a high fall risk. Texas Health Care at Home: Acute care hospital substitute program Quick Care Virtual Visit: Virtual Urgent Care program THVC provides quality medical healthcare regardless of a patient's race, creed, sex, national origin, handicap, age or ability to pay. During the year, they monitored 304 patients totaling 954 patient days and had 6,292 Quick Care Virtual Visits.
