The foundation's goal is to encourage and facilitate health behaviors to the community, particularly those that are in underserved or low-income neighborhoods. The foundation hopes to accomplish its mission via its neighborhood care program that will provide the following community services free-of-charge (to both emblemhealth members and non-members alike):i. Fitness classes: weight-loss, nutrition, cardio, yoga and other healthcare classesii. Personal health: nutritional workshops, support groups, self-care and management, family planning and moreiii. Healthy futures program - pregnancy support program connects community members to important health informationiv. Food access: free meals for students and seniors, delivery services for people with disabilities, food pantries and soup kitchensv. Coronavirus resource centervi. Small business resource programsas the foundation continues to mature and evolve, it will re-evaluate the needs of its community members to shape its future programs and offerings.in 2023, the foundation's lone programmatic activity was the making of a grant to a related party for the purchase of a mobile vehicle unit for its occupational and environmental health clinic.
