Commonspirit health foundation operates to raise funds, collaborate with fundraising affiliates to share leading practices and materials and to support commonspirit health in furthering its charitable health care mission including but not limited to addressing the needs of the poor and vulnerable, addressing the physical and social determinants of poor health; ensuring health equity with a focus on the most vulnerable populations; and supporting innovation in care delivery within commonspirit health hospitals and in neighborhoods throughout the united states. Funds raised will be granted to commonspirit affiliates or to other 501(c)(3) organizations working in collaboration with commonspirit health, to support the health and healthcare needs of the patients and communities commonspirit health serves.
