Psychedelics research:during the year, riverpsykhe successfully continued to help guide the conversation in the emerging psychedelic movement in deference to native american health and sovereignty. In addition, riverpsykhe continued to advance work to study the qualitative impacts of psychedelic use by religious professionals.we continue to engage in capacity building and support of the indigenous medicine conservation fund, a 501c3 for the benefit of five distinct indigenous biocultures around the world.riverpsykhe directors SAT on the boards of maps, the heffter research institute, the indigenous medicine conservation fund, b. More, and riverstyx foundation. Riverpsykhe directors SAT on the advisory board of the nyu center for psychedelic medicine.indigenous medicine support:in support of native medicine conservation, riverpsykhe staff provided continued capacity building with the indigenous peyote conservation initiative and the indigenous medicine conservation fund.additionally, staff networked our indigenous partners with a variety of media outlets and reporters including national and international conferences. Impact investment portfolio:we maintained an impact investment portfolio towards catalytic change in the death care industry, indigenous food sovereignty, regenerative agriculture, nutrient cycling, and innovative/ethical psychedelic businesses. Grants:in 2024 we made $20,000 in 501c3 charitable grants and awards. In 2024 we donated $85,000 to various 501c4 organizations for advocacy work in support of safe regulated access to natural psychedelic medicines to provide safe, regulated access to promising natural psychedelic medicines for treatment-resistant PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
