NPI Capacity Building Grants: LCFC implemented of the Small Nonprofit Grant Program (NPI)and made just over $13.1 million in grants to 164 grantees throughout the denver Metro areaand the I-70 corridor between Denver and Summit County. Most of these grantees were Latino,BIPOC, LGBTQ+ or rural nonprofits. These were capacity building/infrastructure grants,allowing non-profits to build up their operational infrastructure. These grants are contributing to the stabilization and growth of these profits and they are building a stronger network of organizations. Adelante Colorado: A capacity building program graduated its first cohort of organizations planning to grow. Twenty-two organizations underwent a two and a half year capacity building training program and graduated from the program in June 2024. LGA Consulting conducted a final evaluation of the cohort. This report assessed the growth of Adelante grantees, focusing on how they utilized the program to access new opportunities. Each grantee expanded their distinctive leadership and organizational capacities through self directed goals that they set for themselves. The Adelante pilot demonstrates that capacitybuilding funds provide opportunities for Latino nonprofit leaders to experiment with new approaches, build internal expertise, and adapt to changing environments. We will use this report to share our lessons learned and best practices for delivering capacity building programs with the philanthropic community in Colorado and beyond. Executive Director Retreats: LCFC provided a Men's Executive Director Healing Retreat in August and a Women's Executive Director Healing Retreat in October. Both were held in Taos, New Mexico. These retreats created a culturally grounded space to support leaders, build relationships, reflect on their work in community, and focus on healing together. Leadership Roundtables: In 2024, six roundtables took place and some of the topics discussed included: * Earned Income Strategies for Nonprofits * Board Development * Scenario Planning for A New Administration and * Financial and Legal Preparation for A New YearOn average, 65 people participated in each of the roundtables and participants attended virtually from throughout the state.
