Health care support services - public medicaid program enrollment assistance and care coordination valued at $77,000 provided to individuals in need. Patient wellness - at wyoming medical center health, we are committed to helping persons be the healthiest they can be, and we offer many ways to learn how to maintain or improve your health. In 2024 community education and wellness activities were valued at $6,000. Pharmacy education - as part of community service, wyoming medical center provided approximately $321,000 for the training of future pharmacists.funded discharge program - initiative to provide post-discharge services to the vulnerable and underserved. Improves the health of the community by providing access to and resources for post-discharge care which leverages' the patient's recovery options, helps minimize return visits, and addresses access to care. Approximately $75,000 provided to needy community residents for post discharge care. Subsidized health services - wyoming medical center provides important, free, and reduced or sliding fee-based services like ambulance and evacuation services and behavioral health services. Wyoming medical center also provides clinical services to meet the needs of the community. Without the $13,000 ambulance subsidy and service localities would be responsible for these services. Wyoming medical center understands mental and emotional wellbeing is just as important as physical health and in 2024 $1.4 million was devoted to the mental health needs of the community providing safe, confidential, and compassionate treatment with customized treatment plans to meet each patient's needs. Financial contributions and in-kind donations - wyoming medical center is committed to assisting financially and through in-kind contributions to individuals and the community at large. Approximately $1.5 million was provided to support community efforts.community building - as a good corporate citizen and partner, wyoming medical center participates in several activities designed to promote community health and address community needs including community health improvement advocacy, and workforce development. In 2024 wyoming medical center contributed $933,000 to actively recruit physicians to serve in federal medically underserved areas and the enhance community workforce.
