To foster, encourage and promote the development of leadership qualities and clinical and operational knowledge of emergency physicians with a view toward improving and advancing the quality of medical care in emergency medicine, and public health, safety and well-being overall, and to do any other ACT or thing incidental to or connected with the foregoing purpose or in advancement thereof, and to provide opportunities for communication, education, and training in furtherance of the above purposes.
