SVP cultivates effective philanthropists, strengthens nonprofits, and invests in collaborative solutions building powerful relationships to tackle our communitys social challenges. SVP tucson served 14 nonprofits through our two core programs, 8 in each program with two overlapping each program. We expanded our training to server about 40 total nonprofits for one event this year for the first time. SVP served 99,000+ people through our 2gen collaboration, with 45% of that population being bipoc. SVP held over 20 events to both donors and nonprofits promoting connection, education, and professional development. SVP held two fundraisers including a pickleball tournament and our annual fast pitch event. Fast pitch is a free training program for nonprofit leaders and an event designed to create community level change. Each year eight nonprofits receive a five-month training program to help them improve their fundraising and messaging skills. Participants receive structured learning sessions, practice clinics, mentorships, and every nonprofit in the program will receive unrestricted grant funding the main event distributes over 100,000 in grants the fast pitch program is a tried-and-true method of cultivating donor relations and increasing nonprofit exposure, while training nonprofit leaders on how to pitch their organization's mission, model, results and their impact. Fast pitch inspires and engages all of tucson in the process of creating positive change and nonprofits are creating solutions to our most critical needs. Together, we are building a future where our nonprofit communities are resilient, have resources to thrive, and are strengthened by the power of relationships 2generation nonprofit collaboration: SVP tucson is dedicated to disrupting the siloed service delivery model for southern arizona families living in poverty by bringing together organizations that serve children and their parents into a coordinated system of programs and policies that meet the needs of all family members, providing the resources they need to move from poverty to opportunity. At the center of the solution is SVPS 2gen nonprofit collaboration, a joint effort of vital nonprofits commited to working together to provide the resources and opportuni..es families need for positive outcomes. The strategy is to simultaneously build capacity in these nonprofit organizations ensuring organizational stability and scale, and to create a sustainable collaboration that systematically cross-refers clients to meet whole family needs, centers family voice, and builds social capital amongst families. SVP tucson provides capacity building, coaching, and unrestricted grant funding to all nonprofits in the 2gen collaboration.
