As of 12/31/2021, there were no program activities, and all remaining activities and expenses were dedicated to the organization's dissolution. As a result, the various subgroups of the initiative worked amongst themselves to prepare for transfer of their activities to other local partners or to create a sustainability plan that would enable them to continue their activities. The just and healthy food community of interest voted to use its remaining funds to seed a new grassroots operation that would mimic the structure their members had created over the last five years. The active transportation community of interested voted to transfer their activites to the stewardship of downtown on the go, a local partner. The forests community of interetest shifted most of their remaining funds to sustain the operations of the tacoma tree foundation, one of their most successful partners. This funding boosted the tacoma tree foundation to continue much of the work that had been the focus of the forests community of interest, namely increasing tacoma's tree canopy and ensuring everyone had access to free native plans.
