Results for america helps governments find, fund, and implement solutions that measurably improve economic mobility. Rfa's mission is to make investing in what works the "new normal", so that government decision-makers will regularly and effectively use evidence and data to increase the impact of government spending to improve the lives of young people, their families and communities.

What They Do

Standards of excellence: results for america works to build the capacity of government decision makers and non-profit leaders to implement evidence-based practices, with the long-term goal of helping them make more effective use of resources, to scale effective solutions, and to achieve better outcomes for their residents. Our standards of excellence - what works cities certification, state standard of excellence, and federal standard of excellence - help governments benchmark their existing data and evidence capacity and provide a roadmap for how to accelerate their progress and deliver better results.

Implementation support: rfa's implementation support helps our government partners move from awareness of solutions that work to taking action to implement those solutions. Through our shifting dollars technical assistance (SM), we provide resources, trainings, and coaching to help governments invest public funds in higher-impact solutions. Our evidence-based spending guides offer a clear roadmap to invest in what works. And through our solutions accelerator, we support leaders from early-stage research through full implementation of evidence-based solutions.

Our mobilization efforts help build momentum for change in government by motivating and celebrating policymakers who are investing in what works.
