Texas children's primarily includes: texas children's hospital, a multi-campus hospital providing direct patient care and conducting educational and research activities within houston and its surrounding communities; texas children's pediatrics, a pediatric primary care network with over 65 locations in the houston, austin, and college station areas; texas children's urgent care, a group of clinics providing after-hours and weekend pediatric care with 13 locations in the houston and austin areas; texas children's health plan, INC., the nation's first hmo for children. Texas children's is one of the nation's largest and most comprehensive prediatric and women's health care organizations. Texas children's is internationally recognized and has garnered widespread recognition for its expertise and breakthroughs in pediatric and women's health.
