Eight days of hope, INC (edoh) is a nonprofit, charitable organization which exists to bring volunteers to a location affected by natural disaster and assist homeowners in rebuilding and repairing their homes damaged as a result of the disaster. Edoh also builds safe houses for those rescued from human trafficking. Working with ministries that are already providing hope to those rescued, edoh will renovate or build facilities for free, for ministries in need. Edoh is a ministry to serve those in need and for those volunteers who have a desire to serve. Edoh provides food, lodging, logistics, materials, equipment, and the opportunity for morning and evening times of worship for volunteers and homeowners. It is through the efforts of these volunteers and the blessings of god that allow for the accomplishments described in this financial report. In 2024, edoh served almost 900 families through its rapid response and rebuilding ministries. Edoh served in buffalo, NY after a massive snowstorm, in slidell, la, omaha, ne, sulphur, ok, and bell county, TX after devastating tornadoes, in cleveland, TX, sheldon, ia, and western KY after massive flooding and houston, TX, tioga and potter counties, pa, sarasota, FL, haywood county, NC, and valdosta, ga after catastrophic hurricanes. Edoh provided immediate disaster relief, thousands of hot meals, and long-term recovery assistance. The mass-feeding ministry served over 31,000 hot meals to homeowners during the aftermath of these horrific natural disasters. Edoh's safe house ministry partnered with mercy gate ministries in kerr county, TX, and safe harbor in holmes co, oh to build and renovate safe homes for women and children rescued from trafficking.

Eight days of hope also has a rapid response arm of its ministry. The primary goal of its rapid response team is to show the love of jesus christ to disaster victims 48-72 hours after a disaster strikes anywhere in the contiguous 48 states. The means to meeting this goal are through clearing debris, tarping roofs, gutting water-damaged homes, and salvaging personal property. These are the most basic immediate actions necessary to preserve property and livelihood. In so doing, the volunteers seek to build bonds with homeowners, community leaders, and other disaster relief organizations for immediate relief in hope of laying a foundation for future disaster- recovery efforts.
