Through individual giving and fundraising events to and for selected funds, we were able to provide to adena health system in support of patient and staff education, community education, equipment, capital project and charity care.

The foundation awarded scholarships to 31 students. The fields of study included nursing, radiology, technology, physical therapy and laboratory technology. The students were selected by the volunteer scholarship committee of the foundation's board of directors. Each student must submit an application. Applicants are required to have at least a 3.00 grade point average to be eligible and must maintain at least a 3.00 grade point average while in college.

The hospice/community fund was used to provide medical care, home health needs, bereavement counseling, prescriptions, food and shelter needs to 102 qualified patients and their families.
