In 2024, the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth remained a vital and growing force across North Central Texas, serving more than 220,000 individuals across 13 counties and 35+ cities. With a mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all, the YMCA continues to ensure that everyone-regardless of age, income, or background-has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. Our efforts align with Vision 2025, a bold strategic plan focused on regional expansion, facility investment, and community partnerships. In 2024, momentum continued to build as we expanded into 14 additional service areas, strengthened youth and family programs, and deepened support through early education and arts-based enrichment initiatives like 4All Studios. Our impact spans three core areas: Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. Within the YMCA's youth development program, more than 3,300 children found a safe, structured place to go after school, while 2,484 youth built lifelong memories at YMCA Camp Carter. Our Early Learning Center supported 84 children in developing critical kindergarten-readiness skills, and more than 6,100 youth built confidence and teamwork through YMCA sports. Leadership and teen engagement remained strong, with 1,372 youth participating in Teen Nights and leadership programs.

Within the YMCA's healthy living program it helped 11,948 individuals improve quality of life through evidence-based wellness and personal training programs, and 3,245 people gained life-saving water safety skills through swim programs. Signature events like the Turkey Trot brought over 10,000 community members together in celebration of healthy habits and active living.

Within the social responsibility program, the YMCA distributed 71,164 meals and snacks to combat food insecurity and provided over $3 million in community scholarships to ensure financial barriers didn't prevent access. A total of 14,979 individuals participated in free "Safety Around Water" lessons, reinforcing our commitment to health equity and drowning prevention.
