HHS was organized exclusively for the benefit of BSWMC-Hillcrest. HHS is one of two corporate members of BSWMC-Hillcrest and is responsible for appointing 50% of the governing board of BSWMC-Hillcrest and has a number of reserved powers related to the operation and governance of BSWMC-Hillcrest. It also remains the sole corporate member of Hillcrest Health Foundation, an entity established to raise and administer funds for the benefit of BSWMC-Hillcrest.
