Providing assessments, planning, facilitation, holistic outpatient mental/behavioral healthcare, evaluation, and advocacy for ALL in need, especially those least-served English and Spanish individuals, couples, or families identified at/below the 200% Federal Poverty Guidelines, kept the New Hope team very busy throughout 2024. During Covid a wait list of 4-6 months developed with over 100 people waiting for New Hope services; this continued during 2024 and ongoing. Up to 80% of these clients were served at little or no charge throughout 2024. Providing no cost services during a year of economic downturn and inability to collect from Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial insurance companies, combined to create the financial downturn from 2023 to 2024.
