The foundation's dental program is the largest mobile charity dental program in the country. Each of the foundation's dental vans is equipped with two dental exam rooms, digital x-rays, and workstations where dentists, hygienists, and assistants give free high-quality care to central texans in need. During the school year, the dental program provides preventative dental care to elementary school children who attend title i schools in central texas school districts. When school is not in session, the foundation's vans partner with area social service agencies to serve low income adults and families who lack access to dental care. (see schedule o).

Since 1924, the foundation has participated in providing hospital services to community members in need. As a general and limited partner in the ST. David's healthcare partnership, LP (the "partnership"), the foundation controls hospitals dedicated to serving central texas pursuant to the community benefit standard and the affordable care ACT. ST. David's healthcare partnership operates hospitals, free-standing emergency rooms, ambulatory care centers, and urgent care centers. The distributions that the foundation receives from the partnership fund its grantmaking and dental programs. See schedule h for more details.
