Rotary club offers its members opportunities for enrichment in the community and civic services; goals achieved by weekly programs and local service projects, grants to fund local projects of non-profit organizations, and scholarships. One major project is the district grant awarded to basic necessities, a non-profit organization that provides diapers and period product supplies at no cost to people in the arklatex region who are experiencing economic challenges. Another major project is the civic grant awarded to the YMCA of northwest louisiana. This civic grant was awarded to aid in the building of new fields and to sponsor the concession stand. Additional projects during the fiscal tax year included participation in the 4h JR. Livestock show for funds to go towards the 4h student's scholarship, as well as other small community projects.
