The federal maternal, infant and early childhood home visiting (miechv) program was implemented with the goal of improving health and developmental outcomes for at-risk children through evidence-based home visiting programs. Eighteen local projects are implementing three models in 36 high-need communities across florida aimed at equipping parents and other caregivers with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to assist their children in being healthy, safe, and ready to succeed in school. These models were selected by the communities based on local needs, gaps in services and resources. The florida miechv program is funded by a grant from the u.s. Department of health and human services and health resources and services administration (hrsa).

The nurse-family partnership (NFP) program is a nationally accredited, evidence-based, voluntary program that provides home visitation by a nurse to first-time mothers by the 28th week of pregnancy. NFP works to positively impact and transform the lives of first-time moms and their babies through a proven home visiting model. By connecting families with specially educated and equipped home-visiting nurses, NFP provides support during pregnancy and earliest years of a child's life.

The federal child abuse prevention and treatment ACT (capta) funds support the association's grant award from the florida department of children and families (DCF). The grant was awarded with the purpose of implementing a home visiting prevention program for serving pregnant women and infants who are prenatally affected by controlled substances, either legal or illegal, or alcohol and their families.

The goal of the federally funded early childhood comprehensive systems (eccs): health integration prenatal-to-three grant, is to build integrated maternal and early childhood systems of care that promote early developmental health and family well-being with a prevention lens; are fair, sustainable, comprehensive, and inclusive of the health system; and increase family-centered access to care and leadership. Additionally, the organization has other miscellaneous programs.
