Empowering students through financial literacy and work readiness: junior achievement of central florida (JACF) is committed to equipping young people with the skills and mindset they need to build successful futures. By delivering educational programs centered on financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship, JACF supports students across orange, osceola, volusia, and seminole counties. Since its inception, JACF has impacted the lives of more than 2,000,000 students. In the 2023-2024 school year alone, JACF provided over 50,000 students with nearly 1 million hours of instruction. Advancing high school education through the 3de model (continued on schedule o)the 3de by junior achievement program launched in central florida during the 2019-2020 school year, starting with oak ridge high school (orlando) and osceola high school (kissimmee). The 3de model transforms high school education by integrating business concepts and real-world challenges directly into the classroom across all core subjects. Key educational benefits: enhances relevance and engagement by connecting academics to real-world experiences. Deepens understanding through sustained business engagement. Encourages application of academic concepts to foster skill development and knowledge retention. Outcomes: in 2023-2024, the program enrolled 954 students across three high schools: oak ridge, osceola, and newly added ocoee high school. Students partnered with 150 business professionals, participating in nearly 700 hours of coaching and problem-solving exercises based on real business case studies.looking ahead, two additional schools-east river high school and innovation high school-will launch 3de programs in 2024-2025, further expanding the model's footprint in central florida.

Elevating career awareness through ja inspire: ja inspire is a hybrid program designed to prepare middle school students for future career opportunities through a combination of classroom instruction and a hands-on career expo. The program is composed of three integrated components: eight hours of in-class sessions, participation in the ja inspire career expo, a post-event classroom debrief. At the expo, students explore a wide range of careers through interactive exhibits and activities that reflect tools and technologies used in various industries. This experience is customized to highlight high-wage, high-growth sectors relevant to the central florida region (continued on schedule o)2023-2024 program impact:1. Nearly 23,000 hours of classroom and experiential instruction delivered2. Over 7,000 8th-grade students engaged across the regioninitially launched in 2018, the first ja inspire event brought together 3,000 students from all 14 osceola public middle schools. Students visited osceola heritage park, where they explored over 47,000 square feet of interactive, career-themed stations. The continued success of ja inspire demonstrates JACF's ability to connect students with real-world career pathways, helping them envision their futures and strengthening the regional workforce pipeline.

Ja finance park virtual (FPV): a flagship initiative, ja finance park virtual, delivered over 340,000 hours of instruction to 24,000 8th graders and graduating seniors. This comprehensive 25-hour program introduces students to essential personal finance concepts as they prepare for adulthood. The program's digital format allows teachers to conduct lessons in-person or remotely, increasing accessibility and flexibility. Through the ja FPV simulation, students are assigned avatars with real-life scenarios. They practice budgeting and managing finances across life stages, including retirement, building long-term financial capability. JACF collaborates with school districts, educators, and business partners to ensure the effective delivery and reach of the program throughout the region.
