The organization's primary exempt purpose is to undertake charitable and educational activities in support of the villages tri-county medical center, INC. (d/b/a uf health spanish plaines hospital), a related tax-exempt hospital, and any affiliate or subsidiary of the hospital who is also exempt from tax under irc section 501(c)(3) to operate or participate in any activity designed and carried on to promote the general health of the community as is consistent with or authorized by the corporate purposes of the hospital. The organization also provides scholarships to employees of the hospital who are students and are pursuing their education in health care related fields and who demonstrate a financial need.
