The P-12 Policy, Practice, and Research and Higher Education Policy and Research Teams work alongside educators, advocates, and policymakers to identify causes of the achievement gap and to promote the practices and policies for P-12 education, and work to ensure that students of color and students from low-income backgrounds have greater access to colleges and universities, and that those institutions make college affordable.

The Partnerships and Engagement and Communications Teams engage policymakers and diverse coalitions of advocates in demanding and securing equity-advancing policy change at the national and state levels, publish research and analyses, and provide creative visual and digital voice through editorial and digital communications.
