Good samaritan nursing center, INC operated a 147-bed comprehensive care facility located on the good samaritan hospital campus. The facility provided long-term care assistance to its residents, 75% of whom were state of maryland assistance recipients. In addition to these services, the organization offered intergenerational programming for the residents that was drawn from schools, day care centers, etc. In addition, the organization provided activities where the community was welcomed to join in, such as its respite care program, in which caregivers in the community were provided an opportunity to have a vacation or break from caring for a loved one at home.
