See schedule osolutions:our solutions division delivers programmatic, policy, advisory and capacity-building services at the national, state and local levels, working in urban, rural and suburban communities across the country in collaboration with thousands of partners in the nonprofit, public and for-profit sectors. We have offices and dedicated staff in these markets: chicago, denver, detroit, gulf coast, mid-atlantic, new york, northern california, ohio, pacific northwest, southeast and southern california. We also support affordable housing and community development on tribal lands and in rural areas. In 2024, we provided technical assistance and training to meet our partners' greatest needs, identified policy levers that could provide resources to increase production and preservation in their communities, and supported efforts to strengthen the affordable housing ecosystem nationwide. The focus of our programmatic work was on three strategic areas of focus: 1) increasing housing access, quality and resilience; 2) supporting and strengthening community and civic infrastructure; 3) promoting systems change.

See schedule ocapital:enterprise, in conjunction with its affiliates, raises private and public capital through investment and fundraising, and by forming effective partnerships. Through identifying and channeling capital to qualified partners, we bring national dollars to local communities. In 2024, enterprise awarded $42.6 million in grants to 212 affordable housing and community organizations. This included $19.4 million awarded to organizations to scale innovative housing solutions through the national housing affordability breakthrough challenge; approximately $3.3 million awarded to support the construction of new and expanding early learning facilities and co-located affordable housing and early learning projects in washington state; $2.2 million awarded to social service and community development organizations in michigan to support preservation and home repair; and through our national faith-based development program, $1.9 million was awarded to houses of worship and other community organizations working to develop underutilized land into affordable housing.

Our team works nationally and in state houses and city halls across the country to increase resources for affordable housing and use existing resources more effectively. Our advocacy priorities are informed by the work of our policy development experts, who conduct in-depth research and analysis on emerging policy-related challenges and opportunities, identify best practices and solutions, and advance enterprise's mission.
