The georgetown university alumni association (GUAA) will live out its mission in the 2022 - 2024 presidential term by focusing on three strategic priorities. These priorities were developed by the GUAA's leadership,in close partnership with the board of governors, to ensure all hoyas feel at homeand connected to the alumni community.(1)engagement - enhance the intrinsic value of the GUAA for our alumni by: fortifying the GUAA through investment in services and resources that enable sustainable advancement of the GUAA's mission; developing innovative, creative alumni-centered forums, programs, and content; expanding alumni access to meaningful programming, volunteer opportunities, and GUAA resources.(2) diversity, equity, & inclusion - foster a more inclusive and connected community that allows alumni to be their whole selves by: ensuring justice and equity across all alumni engagement and outreach activities; leading efforts to create an inclusive environment; building and expanding GUAA communities, alumni alliances, and affinity groups.(3) communication - elevate awareness of and inspire connection to the GUAA by: strengthening alumni understanding of GUAA's brand and mission; clarifying the breadth of programs and resources the GUAA offers the georgetown alumni community; highlighting GUAA contributions to georgetown university and celebrating the ways the GUAA promotes and enhances the alumni experience.
