Active Auxiliary members serve as volunteers at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital and provide more than 13,822 hours of their time, which is equivalent to over 6.7 full time employees. The Auxiliary conducts an annual giving campaign of its members, numerous fundraiser events, and raises funds through the retail shops from sales of flowers, plants, gifts, nursing supplies, and other items available for purchase for patients by family and friends. Recent Auxiliary gifts include the funding of new state of the art breast imaging equipment for improved imaging procedures and the purchase of additional Labor and Delivery equipment to include birthing beds, Panda Warmers and fetal monitoring carts.
