The primary activity of the organization is to govern, support and advocate for the public charitable ministries of the eastern region of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace. Program service accomplishments included: 1) ongoing development and formation of trustees and ministry leaders, 2) supporting the integration efforts of 2 of the ministries to ensure their future sustainability, 3) facilitating collaboration among the ministries, by creating opportunities for information exchange, mutual support, and participation in inter-ministerial programs, 4) strengthening the Peace Ministries identity and brand to educate and raise awareness about the collective strength of the ministries and the connection to the Congregation, 5) implementing a mission review process to deepen commitment to mission and core values and further integrate mission into each ministry's operations.
