Hospital programs services consultation teen cancer america provides extensive consulting support to past, current and prospective grantees who are primarily leading cancer centers and children's hospitals with specialized programs to serve adolescents and young adults with cancer. In our latest grant cycle, we awarded grants to 5 new programs and 5 existing programs. We opened a new grant cycle on september 23rd, 2024.the play it back music program this direct service program connects cancer patients and survivors ages 15-39 to a professional music producer to help them create music from songwriting to professional mixing and mastering. To date, we have served 75 artists, logged over 2,250 studio hours, and recorded 250 songs.professional education - the monthly drip had 11 new presentations, and the program advisory group meetings had 10 meetings. These calls are attended live by 20-50 healthcare professionals and associated non-profit professionals. They are recorded and sent out to a database of over 1,200 people. Our program advisory forum has almost 300 unique members that ask and answer questions, share resources, and help create a cooperative healthcare network.
