Independent Residential Services, Inc. provides housing for qualified persons with mental health conditions/ disabilities. IRS is a 12 unit group home with a common kitchen and common area, 2 shared bathrooms and a manager/ case worker office space. IRS is regulated by HUD and sponsored through common board membership by Burrell, Inc., a regional community health center. IRS rent is earned through rental income, largely subsidized by Section 8 housing assistance program. A comprehensive range of mental health services are offered and provided by Burrell, Inc.
