The focus of mercy healthcare foundation - clinton (the foundation) is to help the medical center provide the highest quality of care, in the safest environment to our patients, residents, their families and guests, and to achieve the best possible care experience. Gifts to the foundation are used to establish or enhance programs, improve or build facilities and purchase equipment that would otherwise be unavailable due to budget constraints.funds raised this year helped to purchase needed medical supplies and equipment for the medical center and medical group. Gifts were received to help with emergency needs for patient support, including cancer care, home health care, hospice care, and safe care for newborns. The foundation assisted in purchasing patient exam tables, a dialysis machine and educational supplies, cardiac rehab equipment, and surgical tools.
