In september 2002, the ozarks charitable real estate foundation, a type 1 supporting organization of the community foundation of the ozarks, was established to accept gifts of real estate. Net proceeds of contributed assets are transferred to the community foundation of the ozarks to support its mission to enhance the quality of life through resource development, community grantmaking, collaboration, and public leadership.
