Physical activities program: the red wing family YMCA offers programs for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Membership grants access to these programs. Access is available to all regardless of ability to pay through scholarships made possible by our annual campaign. Our parkinson's program for chronic disease prevention, preschool to prepare for school, and swim lessons for drowning prevention are some of these programs made available through membership.

The red wing family YMCA also operates a full day and resident camp. First time campers and those in financial need have financial assistance available to make camp affordable. Camp includes team building and group work for life skills. Specialty areas include sailing, ropes courses, canoeing and fishing. No one is turned away for inability to pay. Over 1,000 kids visit each year.

Preschool program sunshine corner preschool is a licensed preschool with state certified instructors serving 90 children. Curriculum includes arts, group field trips, group activities, stories, gym time, spanish language instruction, and parents advisory committee. Fees are charges and YMCA scholarships are available. No one is turned away due to an inability to pay. Peachtree child care began over seven years ago and still remains strong serving almost 100 children.
