Education - Approximately 1,660 students are enrolled in degree-granting educational programs at MCW. This includes 1,041 medical students, 441 graduate students, 128 pharmacy students, and 51 Master of Science in Anesthesia students. MCW faculty supervise more than 700 physicians in residency training and 200 physicians in fellowship training through the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals, Inc. Research - MCW is a major national research center and the second largest research institution in Wisconsin. In fiscal year 2024, MCW invested $424.3 million in research, teaching, training and related purposes which will lead to improved patient care and health outcomes.
