Michigan-prevent prescription drug/opioid overdose-related deaths (mi-pdo): the purpose of this program is to reduce the number of prescription drug/opioid overdose-related deaths and adverse events among individuals 18 years of age and older by training first responders and other key community sectors on the prevention of prescription drug/opioid overdose-related deaths and implementing secondary prevention strategies, including the purchase and distribution of naloxone to first responders.

Michigan partnership for advancing coalitions - 2024: the michigan partnership to advance coalitions (mi-PAC) project aims to reduce the onset and progression of substance misuse and its related problems by supporting the development and delivery of state and community substance misuse prevention and mental health promotion services. Project goals include enhance statewide infrastructure to provide training and technical assistance to coalitions; increase capacity for communities to identify and address local substance use prevention concerns around tobacco, e-cigarettes, and marijuana; and implement standard improvement procedures to ensure use of high-quality programs, practices, and poicies.
