The Foundation is a grantmaker, philanthropic vehicle, community leader, and volunteer organization. As a grantmaking organization, SCF is able to assist charitable agencies and activities that provide specific and necessary services in our community. As a philanthropic vehicle, the Foundation works with any and all individuals who want a means of giving back to the community in a broad or specific way. As a leader in the community, the Foundation works with organizations, such as the United Way of Saginaw County, to conduct community surveys. As a volunteer organization, SCF gathers diverse groups of people to assist with various Foundation efforts.
