These programs must have an outcome that is predetermined by our community, and that has positive results. Outcomes are derived from our lines of effort: youth education, adult education and training, health, safety, and essential services. Programs investment through community impact investment process are researched and monitored by knowledgeable volunteers who ensure that dollars are invested in programs that are effective, efficient, and integrated.community impact: united way of decatur and mid illinois leads community transformation through effective, efficient, and integrated solutions that empower everyone to be self-sufficent. Our community impact includes our programs: 211, iris (integrated and intake system), neighborhood canvassing project, early behavioral therapist/early childhood development/kindergarten readiness collaboration, dolly parton imagination library, and dewitt system of care collaboration.
