The mission of the parkview foundations is to inspire the generous spirit of our community that brings gifts of healing and comfort to everyone parkview serves.the community hospital of noble county foundation, INC., d.b.a. Parkview noble foundation, adheres to this mission. The foundation raises funds to support new programs and services, educational needs, and innovative technology for the community hospital of noble county, INC., d.b.a. Parkview noble hospital, with the ultimate goal of enabling this community hospital to provide the "above and beyond" care and services that would not be possible without the support of parkview noble foundation donors. (see schedule o for continuation)the gifts received in 2023 by parkview noble foundation were designated to temporarily restricted or unrestricted funds, according to donor wishes, and were used for a number of mission-driven purposes that touched the lives of parkview noble hospital patients and their families in numerous ways. The following are examples of parkview noble foundation providing funding to parkview noble hospital for various hospital programs, services, equipment, and improvements: special touch fund: -the special touch fund provided a nebulizer to a patient who was suffereing with asthma. This equipment was not covered under the patient's insurance and was needed to help with recovery. The special touch fund also provided gas gift cards to patients who needed transportation to their appointments in fort wayne, in. Patients were also provided lymphedema garments. Co-worker emergency fund:-the co-worker emergency fund assisted co-workers facing emergencies such as a health emergency, domestic violence or other life crisis. This fund provided payments for rent, utilities and addressed food insecurity. Scholarships:-scholarship funds provided team members financial assistance as they pursued their healthcare career. One scholarship was provided to a high school student purusuing a nursing degree and one scholarship was awarded to a co-worker working on their nursing degree.medication assistance program: -medication assistance program (map) provided patients with help covering costs of prescriptions necessary for discharge.diabetes awareness and education: -diabetes education supplies were provided for patients.family birthing center: -the family birthing center was provided with a pack 'n play portable crib. Home health and hospice funds:-the foundation funded services provided by parkview home health and hospice to noble county residents. These services included massages for patients, educational materials, pill boxes and bereavement groups for families facing grief and loss.greatest need fund: -the greatest need fund provided equipment and education for patients. Items that were provided includeded breakroom updates for therapy, accessories for the da vinci robotic surical device and the pharmacy utility cart.noble building fund:-parkview noble building fund provided the hospital with av upgrades for their confernece room.community health education fund:-community health education fund provided support to the community with rock steady boxing at the YMCA for senior citizens.meditation garden fund:-meditation garden fund provided upkeep and improvement to the meditation garden located on the parkview noble hospital grounds. Parkview noble therapy fund:-parkview noble therapy fund provided training and education to the staff and therapists.parkview auxillary fund:-parkview auxiliary fund supported the needs of the hospital by providing translation devices for registration areas.
