Sheltering wings provides emergency shelter and support services to survivors of domestic abuse. The services are established to help develop safety, stability and independence. Our primary program includes emergency shelter, case managment, children's services and prevention/education.260 housed in emergency shelter.1,592 crisis calls answered.we helped 14 survivors file protection orders.13,441 people educated in schools and the community.71% of survivors served in shelter exited to safety.1,959 students in hendricks county middle and high schools were educated on healthy relationships.
