Huntington memorial hospital, INC. Is a charitable, not-for-profit, community-owned hospital and member of parkview health system, INC. Since 1995. The 36-bed hospital is 136,532 square feet, along with a 34,396 square-foot medical office building, and sits on a 35-acre campus. It was first established in 1902, and the current facility opened in 2000. Medical staff consists of 345 physicians and 103 advanced practice providers. (see schedule o for continuation)services include: - full-service, 24-hour emergency department with twelve treatment rooms, one trauma bay, and a "safe room" for patients who may be experiencing a behavioral health crisis.- two surgical suites, one endoscopy room, seven pre-/post-op rooms, and three recovery rooms. - medical infusion unit providing outpatient medications, infusions, transfusions, and central line care under the supervision of a dedicated RN. -thirty inpatient rooms, with six constant care rooms with remote-monitoring capability and telehealth available for specialty consults.- family birthing center with six private labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum rooms.- rehabilitation and wellness services including physical, occupational, and speech therapy for adult and pediatric populations, diabetes education, medical nutrition therapy, pediatric feeding program, athletic rehabilitation, hand therapy, dry needling, lymphedema therapy including breast cancer specialists, brain injury specialists with training in vestibular/concussion rehabilitation, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and cardiac and pulmonary rehab. - full-service lab and pharmacy, including an anticoagulation therapy unit clinic for patients taking blood thinners.- a sleep disorders lab offering two patient rooms for overnight, on-site sleep studies and instruction for patients receiving home sleep studies.- an outpatient center for wound healing offering biologic and biosynthetic dressings, growth factor therapies, negative pressure therapy, debridement, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.- diagnostic imaging services: 3d mammography, 3d and 4d ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, nuclear medicine, dexa scan, ekg, eeg, echocardiogram, heartsmart CT scan, smartlung CT scan, and cardiopulmonary procedures, vascular screening, and fluoroscopy.-paramedic ambulance service operated by huntington memorial hospital, INC. Based upon these results, huntington memorial hospital, INC. Creates an implementation strategy that serves as an in-depth plan defining how we plan to address each identified health need. In the calendar year 2024, the hospital selected seven community agencies and organizations with which to collaborate in addressing the focus areas.
