United way works closely with human service agencies that align with these focus areas. United way of dekalb county partners with singlecare (formerly familywize) to provide prescription discounts to dekalb county residents. During the 2025 day of caring, 62 service projects were completed with the help of approximately 900 volunteers. The united way of dekalb county hosts the power of the purse fundraiser once a year to raise money for community impact grants focused on women and children.
