Community impact - the focus of community impact is to address the needs of alice (assets limited, income constrained, and employed) - also known as families who live paycheck to paycheck. By concentrating on keeping these families from entering the welfare system, we stabilize families, businesses, and the community. We also provide critical resources for early learning, youth success, and essential needs across more than 25 nonprofit partners. In addition, uwsjc seeks and leverages funding for pre-k camps during the summer before entering kindergarten, utility assistance, food insecurity, resource accessibility, and our general emergency food and shelter fund.

Communications impact - oversees the distribution of information for not- for-profit partners, donors, volunteers, corporate partners and the general public. Communications impact also oversees all event coordination and planning, ensuring community engagement at every level.

Oneroof ST. Joe county - a series of facilities designed to house a multitude of critical human services under one roof within a neighborhood that is highly susceptible to socioeconomic challenges, the current southeast neighborhood center has been operating for 20 months. The mishawaka neighborhood center is halfway through construction and will open in calendar year 2025. Our centers host mental healthcare, childcare, family services, senior services, WIC, and programs designed to improve parent interaction with children in a learning setting.
