The YWCA greater cleveland early learning center is a preschool serving 40 students in an innovative framework that supports the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of families and their children aged 3-5 years that are experiencing homelessness or other significant life challenges. The two-generational program model assesses and identifies the social and emotional needs of the children. We work with families to create goals and case plans to prevent a re-occurrence of homelessness and empower them to achieve and maintain the highest level of self-sufficiency.

Independence place provides supportive housing for young adults. Nurturing independence and aspirations (nia) services young adults aged 18 to 24 who are transitioning out of failing systems, such as foster care. The program provides specialized care informed by an understanding of adversity and resilience. Nia focuses on six dimensions of a young adult's life: housing, education, employment, health, permanence, and engagement. Life coaches provide guidance for the many activities offered within nia. Program participants find stable housing, pursue educational opportunities, focus on career development, learn the importance of healthcare, and develop life skills.

Norma herr - YWCA provides operating and case management services for norma herr women's center (NHWC). YWCA's goal for the center is to provide access to immediate low-barrier shelter and services to empower individuals at the NHWC to receive the support they need and often require to overcome their experiences of homelessness, distress, and physical and substance abuse. These services allow them to re-establish self-sufficiency and independence in our community. NH is currently operating in 2 locations while norma herr ii is under construction
