The foundation's mission, as a supporting organization of delta dental of north carolina, is to promote, strengthen and expand the programs which will improve, advance and promote the improvement of oral health and overall well-being. The foundation will receive funding from delta dental of north carolina and other sources so that the programs can be enhanced and expanded. The foundation will also carryout grantmaking activities that delta dental of north carolina could not otherwise carry out directly. All activities and grants will at all times be exclusively for charitable, scientific, literary, educational and other exempt purposes.
