Income (financial stability, self-sufficiency, crisis & basic needs): funded programs that help individuals achieve new levels of independence and, in some cases, self-sufficiency.these programs provide job training and placedment, as well as sheltered employment, for for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities or other disadvantages. Funded programs also provide emergency shelter for homeless men, including overnight and daytime shelter, meals, case management, employment referrals, and shower and laundry facilities. Other programs provide emergency assistance for immediate basic needs, such as food, transportation, medication, utility payment and shut-off prevention, including those for disaster victims and aiding military personnel with emergency or special needs communications.
