Substance use navigators programsubstance use navigators (suns) support emergency department patients through in-person and virtual visits, conducting chemical dependency assessments and connecting them to treatment, care facilities, and wraparound services with compassionate, in-person transitions. In 2024, suns assisted 649 premier health patients, including 128 who received direct "bed-to-bed" transfers from the ER to inpatient treatment.
